Why does our BP fluctuate so much when we're stressed or ill?!

Question: Why does our BP fluctuate so much when we're stressed or ill?
ie if ill it can be 160/100 or conversely 50/30 (I assume you're dead then

Answers:

there are many factors that affects the BP, if we are stressed our body tends to constrict its peripheral blood vessels those in the arms and feet to preserve blood oxygen to the vital organs like the heart, brain and lungs, thus increasing the force of blood against the arterial wall due to the constriction.

when we are ill, fluids and electrolytes in our body shifts from inside the cells to outside the cells and enters the blood stream thus increasing the volume of the blood making the heart pump stronger increasing the blood pressure
