Where can I find info about bacterial infections in newborns.?!

Question: Where can I find info about bacterial infections in newborns.?
I'm doing a casestudy and I'm looking for some medical background info about possible causes of a bacterial infection in two newborns and a mother.

I have already found some pieces of information which said that: Listeria monocytogenes, Serratia marcescens, E. coli, Streptococcus agalactiae could cause it.

I have looked with: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov www.scirus.com scholar.google.com
but I cant found enough information about the possible pathogens.

I have already looked with the terms: neonatal infection, neonatal sepsis, newborn sepsis, newborn infection, perinatal infection, perinatal sepsis.

Does anyone have more suggestions on where and how to look for this. Usually I have no trouble finding enough information. But this time it's really difficult.

Answers:

You could try some of links below as a start. The Merck Manual is a diagnostic tool many doctors refer to that would at least give you some help with the symptoms. Can you give a synopsis of the case study you are doing with more detail as to background on the mother? That may help to narrow down the possibilities if there is some correlation as to her medical history and whereabouts during her pregnancy.
