Unfortunately there are no useful treatments for alopecia, the medical condition (areata or totalis.) If however you are simply referring to male pattern baldness, there are 2 drugs that can help, minoxidil topically and Finasteride orally. Neither are available on the NHS for this purpose.
Both have limited effect, become rather expensive when used as maintenance and in both cases when the drug is stopped hair loss fairly quickly occurs.
