How will you know that you are no longer infected with Chlamydia?!

Question:

How will you know that you are no longer infected with Chlamydia?

I found out that i have Chlamydia last month and so i've been given a medication, i took 2 tablets at one time and that's all i needed to take said the nurse. The thing is, me and my partner had sex after 4 days of taking the medicine but we used condom. 2 days after i took the medicine, my partner went to the hospital and had himself checked and after 2 weeks, they gave him the result and it says that he is also positive. He is still now taking his medication. Two tablet/day for 1 week.

Here's the thing, after 1 month of taking my medication, im starting to have rashes in my vagina and it is so uncomfotable specially that it is so itchy. There was never a time that we had sex after finding out we are positive, without using condom. What do you think i should do? Should i go and have myself check again?

Answers:

Look if you are concerned then you have to go back and seek medical advice first and foremost.
You BOTH should have been treated at same time otherwise you will re infect each other.
It could be a number of issues not using lubricant or maybe allergy to the lubricant on condom..or type who knows it could be an outbreak of thrush ..Doctor will sort it out. ♥
