Was that a mini seizure? What happened?!

A few years ago I suffered from some trauma because my brother died and I was having anxiety attacks cause I had to do my exams at the same time. I was having nightmares for months and this is before I was diagnosed with ADHD. I used to have this thing where I'd be kind of dreaming but my muscles were twitching I had no control over my body but my eyes were open and I was hallucinating. The same thing happened when I got to uni and I was off my medication for some time. I wasn't necessarily dreaming but my eyes were open but I wasn't fully awake and my body was jerking. What does that mean and how do I explain it to my doctor? I'm on prescribed medicine because of my ADHD.
