Is there a bacteria that attacks fat?!

Is there a bacteria that attacks fat?

a guy told me at work and he told me what the name waz but i dont remaber what is waz and i thank it is a bacteria but im not sure he said it attacks fat in your body?

The closest thing I can think of is mycoplasma. Mycoplasma are very small bacteria that lack a cell wall. They behave more parasitically than their own organism. They utilize sterols such as cholesterol from their host.
