You are so fortunate to be in the states to have that removed. Mine was removed in Indonesia right after the 2004 Tsunami. They cut me as big as the doctors hand would fit. My bad because the doctor had big hands. Third world medicine!
What can cause the infection? Coffee's, pops, fingernails. The gall bladder detoxifies so of the foods or drinks you ingest to make it easier for the stomach to digest. You don't really need the gall bladder. You will be fine.
