Answers:

HIV and other STDs do not appear out of nowhere. They are not created by people having sex. You can not get HIV or other STDs from someone who does not have HIV or other STDs in the first place. You can only get HIV or other STDs from someone if they have HIV or other STDs to begin with. Also, one STD will not turn into another. But having any STD makes it easier for HIV and other STDs to get in and infect you. Having multiple partners is a risk because those partners probably have multiple partners. But you can not get an infection from someone who does not have an infection to begin with. All of that said, HIV and other STDs don't usually have symptoms, so you can't tell if someone is infected just by looking at them. The only way to find out if you have HIV or other STDs is to get tested.

I do HIV education and testing.

Oh my, this country really needs a better sex education program. If one of the people has an infection they can spread it to the other. If no one has an infection they cannot just create one. You should use protection every time you have sex, and maybe you should try to educate yourself about sexual health prior to having sex again.

Of course. You didn't know who among them is infected with the virus. You might not get the hiv per se but other std's may do.

You can get an infection of course. But no matter what else is happening, get checked out then, get a brain, use a condom!
