If I Had Something Serious, like Lung Cancer, my shortness of breath wouldn'!

Question: If I Had Something Serious, like Lung Cancer, my shortness of breath wouldn't get better right?
Ok, so the middle of the day in December, I was on a plane I had a scary situation on the flight, I got shortness of breath while on the flight and I have worried about it since then. Because since then I have had shortness of breath every day. Oh BTW, I am 15. I have been worrying that it is lung cancer ( I am a hypacondriac) but these last couple of days, things have been getting better with my breathing, and then last night my grandmother was having problems and we were afraid that it was a stroke and I started having a hard time breathing again. Just so you know, it wasn't a stroke.
So my question is, if I did have cancer or something like that, my symptoms wouldn't get better for a day or two and then go back to the way they were and then get a little better, right??

thanks so much!!! 10 points to the best answer!

Answers:

If you did have something serious like lung cancer causing it,
your shortness of breath wouldn't get better.
You are right? You have figured it out yourself.
You do not have an advanced lung cancer causing intermittent
dyspnea (difficulty breathing).
It may be anxiety, but it is not an advanced lung carcinoma.
Of course you should be seeing your regular doctor to
evaluate your concerns.
Ask you parents to set up an appointment for you.

You have a type of stress induced asthma. This can be common in kids 12-17. It stems from your inability to channel stress and anxiety in your life. I have seen breathing exercises work wonders with this problem coupled with an albuterol inhaler. You need to talk with your parents and see a physician to get proper treatment for this problem. If left untreated it can lead to worsening of the symptoms. Good Luck.

I have a foster son with the exact same problem

You need to shown to chest physician.
You do not have lung cancer.
Heart and lung diseases need to be ruled out.
