It looked like it was going away while I was taking it.

I am taking Levofoaxacin too, for a sinus infection. Expensive stuff. I had it prescribed to me three times for various upper respiratory ailments because it is much better on the digestive tract than most antibiotics. I was wondering the same thing about acne and I asked the doctor this last time about that and they said it will most likely have no effect on acne. If any, it would be slight and that would probably be because when you have a healthy immune system, you usually have a clearer complexion. It does treat other skin problems like infected wounds and stuff but those are caused by a strep bacteria instead of acne vulgaris which is totally different. For acne, the best antibiotics are tetracycline and doxycycline but they are too harsh on my stomach so I can't take them. Here is a link about Levaquin, the brand name version of Levofloaxacin.
