i read in the news paper this morning that a 24 yar old died from diabetic complacation can someone tell me what the complacation are just curious.....
Answers:
Most poorly controlled diabetics end up in renal (kidney) failure, diabetic retinopathy (eventually leading to blindness), peripheral neuropathy (loss of nerve sensation).
Kidney function is often so bad that hemodialysis or kidney transplant is required.
Some diabetics who are brittle end up with very low or very high blood sugar and can end up in diabetic coma.
