My glans are red, I'm worried?!
Question: My glans are red, I'm worried?
Answers:
The healthy colour for a glans is reddish pink - it gets redder when it's erect. Is your boyfriend circumcised? If so, that may be why his glans is an unhealthy pale colour.
Do NOT take Norton G's advice regarding cleaning. He may be a doctor, but he is wrong about keeping the penis clean. NEVER use soap on the glans - it dries the mucous membrane out and kills the beneficial bacteria that keep the glans healthy, making the glans less sensitive and inviting hungal infection. You should only ever rinse the glans with water.
Answer
Don't worry consult to your lady doctor. May be he gave you better advice than from here. Understand.
Take a picture of it and send it to me so that I can see it.

Sebastian, I hope I do not disappoint you when I state that your red glans penis is very normal and healthy. The pink-to-red color is due to the many normal capillary blood vessels just below the surface of the glans. In the capillaries are passing red blood cells whose red color causes the red you see. The entire penis is filled with blood channels which, during sexual excitement, cause the organ to enlarge and become very firm. Any irritation may be due to a tight foreskin, or simply a signal that you need to improve regular soap and water cleaning of the area, daily if possible. Be aware that even being a little bit intimate could allow the herpes virus to pass from skin-to-skin. Study a bit more about how herpes is passed from person-to-person even without having to have oral sex or penetration. Don'T worry now, but be wise and learn some more about possible sexually transmitted infections.
