What happens during a Seizure?!

Question: What happens during a Seizure?
What causes a seizure, what does a seizure feeling like, and what happens?

Answers:

There are different types of seizures and I am familiar with 2 of them. One is a grand mal seizure in which the electrical pulses in the brain misfire and do not connect and results in the the person losing consciousness and convulsing. The muscle contractions are tensed and fists close and the convulsing is causing the body to jerk all over. Normally this last for less than 2 minutes and upon regaining consciousness the person will be confused, disorientated and will have no memory of what transpired. Most often the person will sleep for different periods of time and upon waking will be tired and weak.
The other type with which I am familiar is the petite mal and the person will will stare ahead without making eye contact and will start rubbing fingers together like twitching and speech will become impaired and the person trying to talk can know what he wants to say but is unable to speak normally. When this fades the person is tired and after rest returns to normal but remembers very little to nothing.
Some people have an aura and have a warning sign that a seizure is coming on and when this warning comes one should get to a safe place (on the floor and away from any objects that could harm them if having a grand mal seizure).
I cause of seizure is unknown see your primary care physician and he (she) will refer you to a neurologist. See your physician.

Experience and in dealing with persons with seizure problems

There are many different causes, many different ways one can experience it and many things may happen.

This is like asking: What causes cancer, what does it feel like and what happens?
