What can I do about the "corn" on my mousing finger?!

What can I do about the "corn" on my mousing finger?
Well, if it was on a toe it would be called a corn, but there's a callous or wort-type lump right where my index finger hits the mouse button. Is there anything I can do about it?
Answers:
I would soak it in epson salts and warm water, then rub it with a pumice stone. This is what i did to my feet when i was a waitress. The epson salts will soften it and the pumice should help to remove some of it.
