Do smokers realize that others are around and breathing in that crap?
Answers:
When it comes to the actual smell...the answer is no. When a person smokes, the tobacco completely destroys a persons sense of smell. While a non-smoker can walk into a smokers house and almost suffocate with the smell, another smoker can walk in and have no response at all. It smells no different than a non-smokers house to them.
As for when they are smoking, yeah, I think they are somewhat aware that others around them can smell it. Now whether or not they care, that's another story.
