I called the National Stroke Associaton at 1-800-787-6537, they have two in Alabama:
1. University of Alabama in Birmingham - their number is 1-205-934-0683
2. Mobile Infirmary Medine in Mobile - their number is 1-251-435-2400
Their computers went down when they were trying to look up numbers in Georgia, but if you would like to call back, call them at 1-800-787-6537.
I was told the University of Alabama was the best, their neurology department specializes in this.
