Do "Shingles" need any treatment or will they heal alone?!

Do "Shingles" need any treatment or will they heal alone?

I think I have shingles, I was wondering wether to just try and ignore them or seek medical advice and treatment?

I am in my early twentys, I have had chicken pox when I was very young(5-8 years old), and recovered. I have a line of blisters on my left shoulder blade running perdendicular from my spine.
I have a "stinging" muscular pain in the blisters and my left pectoral. This sound like the right thing?

They can heal alone but Valtrex will speed it along. You may also want to find out if there is an underlying cause .... it could be a weakened immune system.
