Please name diseases and illnesses that has been cured?

I'm not talking about suppression of symptoms, but a complete cure and eradication. Please post links that shows it has been cured.

There isn't any disease, that I can think of, that has been eradicated world wide. Polio and Smallpox have both been eradicted from the US and most major countries through vaccinations. However, in Africa and some parts of Asia and the Mideast both are still killing people every year as the governments have not pushed vaccinations to eliminate them.
