Question: Vomit blood or the red gatorade that I drank?

I had food poisoning over the weekend from some bad sushi that I ate. Had to vomit 3 times early sunday morning but it was normal color. Later in the afternoon I drank Red (fruit punch flavored) gatorade then a bottle of a water and 1 hour later I had to vomit but this time it came out bright red. I feel better now and haven't had to vomit since.

Chances are it's the red gatorade that I drank right?

Answers:

Yes because you wouldn't digest it in 1 hour unless your stomach was totally empty but even then it really depends on how much you drank.

So yes chances are it was the Fruit followed by a minor punch =)

But yes it would be a good idea to see your doctor to make sure.

It may be red gatorade. If you are feeling well after that and have no problem then don't need to worry about that. Other wise you must concern doctor.
