Is there a cure for cancer???
My mom said she "HAD" cancer.
and I dont know but, i thought there was no cure for cancer...?
is there any cure for ANY cancers?

There is no cure for every cancer, but there is treatment that can lead to cure. Much depends on the stage of the cancer when found. Some cancers are low grade and slow growing and can be removed easily. Those cancers may never reoccur. And, than there are more serious types of cancer that have progressed or advanced. They are harder to treat . . but the key word is TREAT. Cancer is treatable at any stage, including advanced.
Keep in mind that there are many, many diseases that are not curable . . including Diabetes, Hepatitis C, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis,
Multiple sclerosis, and AIDs. But people can live long lives WITH the disease.
Many cancers are treatable and are more like a 'chronic disease' . People are living with cancer long term more and more frequently.
