Question: Will mucinex DM work....?

For head congestion? I have never been so stuffed up on my life.
Will mucinex DM work for that? I took some just now but I don know ecause inthought that's for chest congestion?

Anything with "DM" in the name, is designed for coughs and includes a cough suppressant, usually Dextromethorphan. Regular Mucinex will work best to help drain your sinuses and make you breathe more easily. If you go to Walgreens, you can get a generic version called "Mucus Relief", that is almost 1/2 the price of Mucinex. The active decongestant chemical in both of these is Guaifenesin.
