I'm so depressed right now no joke. Friday I decided I would squeeze this zit I had for a long time! It then finally peeled my skin it turned brown and on Sunday I picked the scab barely forming and now my skin in like bright pink, should hydrogen peroxide help??? I stayed home from home because of it it's on my nose and I seriously cried. Please I need help I have no clue I just wanna cry myself to sleep I feel so bad for missing school!!! Uhhhh!!!

The pink you're seeing is simply new dermal growth that's replacing the injured area. In time; it will match the surrounding pigment. You're young. I'm thinking two; or maybe three days to see nearly complete healing. Peroxide may irritate the area; and worsen the appearance. OTC (over the counter) 1% hydocortizone cream can quiet the inflammation; and in turn; improve the appearance. There are also some good anti acne cover ups that can mask the angry appearance. It will heal. and you have my sympathy. It sucks to have zit on your nose; but trust in the knowledge that you are not alone. Ask some of your friends how they deal with the common teen malady. Listening to other's advice can bring you some support.
