Am I allergic to mascara?!
Question: Am I allergic to mascara?
But last night I didn't take it off (I never take it off..) And I kept having to pull my eyelids apart.
Now my eyeball is extremely red and the skin round it is a tad puffy...The eyelid is normal though.
Please help!

Maybe if you are allergic the symptoms are The eyelids may develop blisters, itching, and redness. The conjunctiva may also become red and watery. If the eyelids continually come into contact with the offending allergens, the lids may become chronically (long-term) inflamed and thickened. But if you always wear it then i don't see how this happened this time so it may just be a very bad case of conjunctivitis but if you are still unsure i would go and consult a local doctor about this.
I don't think you're allergic to it, you probably got some in your eye while you were sleeping and it got irritated, making your eye teary resulting them to stick together. It happens to me when i wash my eye makeup off and some mascara gets in my eye.

If you were allergic, the response would have started from the beginning.
This sounds more like an irritation or infection.
See a doctor.
We'll it's probably infected because your suppose to take it off, not leave it on..;b Juust go to the doctor.:)
maybe u have an infection if it doesnt get better soon go to the doc
