Will I ever get used to being diabetic?
I was diagnosed type 1 diabetic in september last year and I feel as though I am still in denial my doctors say I need to get control of it but I am finding it so hard to accept it. I try to do what I should but feel like every day is just a constant struggle, I am on four injections a day and I hate them

It is never easy to accept life changing conditions. I am a type 2 insulin dep. on an insulin pump. I was up to 4 shots a day as well and discussed a pump with my endo. It has made it a lot easier to accept because it now allows me more freedom from the shot and scheduling meal times.
