Answers:

Neosporin is an anti biotic, and will also promote healing. Good stuff.

Of course there are alternatives to almost any over the counter medications, but you did ask about neosporin, so the reply was what you asked for.
My wife is a retired nurse, and many hospitals and infant care units use the neosporin as a anti biotic for minor cuts and abrasions with great success, but it's your choice. If you have it on hand use it without worry.

Don't use Neosporin. The best thing for it is Vitamin E. You can get capsules at any drugstore, Walmart, etc. Take one, poke it with a pin, squeeze out some of the Vitamin E and apply it to the wound.

My Pediatrician recommended Vitamin E when my daughter cut her chin open to prevent a scar and help it heal quickly. I use it on all my kids cuts. It really helps!

yes what wint said vitamin is is the best cheap solution while your trying other things its our natural vitamin in our body to promote healing in our skin but you should take it by the pill it works better but whatever you choose i also take vitamin b take it with the pill
