Answers:

Dyshidrotic dermatitis- aka dyshidrotic eczema, aka dyshidrosis. I have it too, and I've had several doctors look at it over the past year or so. It started on one finger and now it's on almost all of them. First it gets little tiny blisters about the size of a pin head. Then it all dries up and cracks and oozes the stuff out of the blisters, and then it peels, and then it starts all over again.
Water makes it worse, I sometimes have to wear gloves to shower if it gets too painful. Hopefully your eczema is acute, not chronic, because then you should be able to clear it up fairly easily. I didn't do anything about mine right away, and now I'm paying for it.
Try Gentle Naturals Baby Eczema Cream- I found mine at Wal-Mart in the baby care aisle, and it helped a lot. Also try cortisone cream (the strongest that you can find)- it's about $5-6 at department stores and pharmacies. Moisturize a lot with something like Eucerin, and find some gentle soap-free cleansers (I use Cetaphil).
If it doesn't go away, you should probably look for a new job that doesn't involve getting your hands wet, and you'll have to go to the doctor and get some prescription strength cream. I know it's bad news, but don't wait like I did, or you'll probably be stuck with it for a long time too.
Good luck!
