How to date...with HPV?!

Question: How to date...with HPV?
Hi, so I recently found out I have vereneal warts and HPV. I am in the process of getting this treated, but...how do you date with this "PROBLEM?" I don't want rude answers..I would like answers from someone who may have been in my position? There's a chance the warts can come back once the perscription works, or they may not come back, but I won't know for sure. Whats done is done and I can't change the choices I've made, but only move forward and learn from it. Thanks let me know.

Answers:

You made a bad choice by having unprotected sex, but it was never a choice to contract this viral disease. Warts stay in your system forever. It will only be a problem if you have an outbreak. Unfortunately, unlike herpes, there is no sign that you are having an outbreak. They can heal and come back with no warning. Herpes is often painful and uncomfortable. They are also often on the outside. Warts are usually inside where a woman can not see them. Making you more contagious without being aware of it. They say that as many as 1 in 4 people have HPV and most do not even know it. Women are the ones who seem to get the most problems since we can end up with cancer and men don't have this worry.

Also with HPV, there are many different strains. Some cause warts and some do not. The vaccine only guards you against some of the strains. make sure you wear protection from now on. Don't have relations with a man you don't trust and are not in a relationship with. It is a personal decision if you decide to tell a new partner that you have. He would probably appreciate it as you would have wanted that same courtesy from the jerk who gave it to you. Even though men don't know they have HPV, they sure know when they have had warts! Make sure you have an annual pap smear to detect and signs of a recurrence. If a man does not want to be with you as a result of what you tell him, he is not worth it anyways.

talk to your doctor about the future and what you will need to expect.

Keep your panties on.

Problem solved!
