Should I worry about blood clot?!

Question: Should I worry about blood clot?
so i woke up yesterday morning with this pain down my right thigh. And it still is there today. Its also spasming a lot as well. like 4 days ago, i went to the hospital and had full blood work done, and a d-dimer test, and it was all good. I have a strange phobia of getting a blood clot. Could I have one even though i just had that testing? i have no risk factors, or hereditary causes to get one. im 22 f with no medical issues...

Answers:

This would not be typical symptoms, nor place for a blood clot.

I'm only 17, but I would say go to the doctor just to be on the safe side. just because DVT (deep vein thrombosis [thrombosis being a blot clot]) can be a little worrisome in the leg, just because it can lead to humungo things. I for one had a blood clot (dvt) in my forearm which are extremely rare, andd i didn't have any of those symptoms. It was hot to the touch, it was visible (mine was superficial though, meaning close to the surface of the skin), it was huge at first but the swelling went down to the actual shape of it. my mom and her side of the family has a history of them. If it....forgot the word but i guess "releases" then it could travel to your lung/heart region. BUT!!! all in all, just go to the doc. most people who answer these aren't experts, dont rely on us for your health =]

I'm not haha, i just experienced it.

and all they put me on was a blood thinner. went away in like 3 days. wasn't anything to freak out about at allll

myself!

This could be an anxiety issue if the doctors rule our everything see a therapist.
