do premature babies have a high risk of developing diabetes ?

Answers:

You think hearing bad news will lessen the impact tomorrow. It's good you are getting tested. You may be diabetc, prediabetc or hypochondriac so do the test control your eating anyway, no sodas drink water unsweetened ice tea you need to control yourself anyway

If you actually have all those symptoms and signs it is quite likely that you do have diabetes. The blurred vision does not come early in diabetes. If you do have diabetes then it may have been there for some time.
Prematurely born babies are not known to have higher risk of diabetes than general population.
The doctor you are seeing tomorrow will surely check urine and blood for sugar and situation will be settled.

Medicine

You did not say if you take any meds. All these could be side effects. You could have diabetes, but you don't really show a family history, little. Granpa could have had old age onset, you didn't say if he had whole life. you really don't give enough info for good answer, in my opinion. Don't stress, you will find out, ask Dr to check blood sugar. Premature babies have high risk for everything(you know what I mean) because they have not fully developed, mostly pancreas developes OK if just little bit early. Lungs and sucking reflex and heart issues are common with preemies. Only answering because we had preemie, just 5.5 weeks early. you need to provide more info, ask YOUR Dr. best thing.

It could be that you have it. My mom has it & she has most of those signs you mention. I'm glad you decided to go to the doctor's tomorrow so you can find out what it is. I wish you the best & take care.

You are right to be concerned - many of those symptoms are consistent with a diagnosis of diabetes.

I wish you all the best and hope you start feeling better soon.

youll find out tomorrow.. so pray to GOD u dont.. and if u dont.. that u could REVERSE IT.. also eat CINNAMON AND OATMEAL, AVOID SOFT DRINKS AND STIK TO WATER
