Do you think you might have an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?!
Question:
Do you think you might have an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?
Or do you feel like it's JUST another "label" only because medical science/ psychiatry can't figure people out?
I personally feel that term OCD is too broad since each individual persons environment and experiences have so much bearing on how they will believe, think, feel, act or react.
Meaning the "actual symptoms" of one individuals diagnosis of OCD, are never 100% exact as anothers diagnosis. I believe medical science should look much closer at "individuality" and the crucial part it plays in making a correct diagnosis.
Answers:
I get what you are saying EVERYTHING and EVERYONE must have some kind of label if they do something or anything, I have OCD I have had it since I little, my great grandma and my mother had it. Its just something you have to adapt to and take meds for. I am more concerned about the ramped diagnosis of ADD, I mean COME ON everyone that doesn't pay attention for 2 secs is now diagnosed with ADD!!!
