Question: Washing face with water filled with ice cubs?
What is the use of washing face with the cold water filled with ice cubs? Its funny isn't it? I have seen that in a lot of movies, but have no clue as to why? Thnx )

You do it after you wash your face because the cold water closes your pores, making it so that less dirt and stuff gets in them. But I must agree, it is weird.
I think Loretta Young (portrayed in movie "Mommy Dearest") did the ice cube thing to reduce the swelling in her face due to excessive alcohol consumption. She supposedly was a raging alcoholic while she was a popular screen actress.
I have never heard of that, actually. Sounds kind of bizarre.
