my boyfriend just burnt his hand and and its like a blister now and what should i put on itto make it go away and to help it stop bruning so much

Nothing is going to make it go away except time. Cold running water will help take away some of the immediate sting and heat. Pat it dry, then put on some aloe vera gel or some of the gel from a generic vitamin e capsule. Cover it with a clean dry bandaid and leave it alone otherwise. Leave the blister alone entirely and whatever you do, don't break it or otherwise mess with it. The spot needs the skin cover the blister provides to protect the damaged area underneath. If the spot is larger than a quarter, or his fingers begin to swell or feel numb, then you need to go to the emergency room. It's going to hurt, he damaged skin. Aspirin or Motrin (ibuprofen) will help with the pain, as will some of the first aid sprays with lidocaine. Cold aloe vera gel is particularly soothing as well- keep it in the frig.
