Does anyone know what this medical problem is?
over the last month i have awoken 2 times at 4 AM to an extreme tightness/ burning/ restriction in my chest/ upper stomach that between 30 minutes to an hour progressively got worse and than slowly dissapated. it happened again around a week and a half ago, but wasnt as intense. then two days ago i had the worst "attack" ive ever had which lasted more than an hour and was the most intense it has ever been. an endoscopy showed nothing. does anyone have any idea of what could be causing this to occur? im going to college in a month and a half and the earliest appoinment i could get with my doctor to follow up with the results of an upper abdominal sonogram is in late july which is cutting it kind of close, i dont want to go away to college if this is still happenening and i dont know what else to do...

indigestion is possible.
If it happens again try taking Tums, Maalox some sort of antiacis, see if that helps.
