Pain in stomach?!

Question:

Pain in stomach?

i keep having this pain in the stomach area and it feels tight at times and makes me nauseous. i do have a hiatal hernia and acid reflux, could this cause it? what are the symtoms of a gall bladder problem?

Answers:

If you have acid reflux, you should be using Pepcid AC, Zantac, Tagamet or similar acid reducer. These are available over the counter everywhere.

Tums and maalox don't work. Avoid pain killers, like aspirin, as many can damage your stomach.

If you haven't been treating it, you may be damaging your esophogus, or developing an ulcer, which causes the pain and nausea.

Take pepcid (cimetidine) also available in generic. Trust me on this one - it works, no side effects. Works fast, lasts all day. At this point, you should just take one a day. When you're healthy, you can just take one when you need it.

Until you get this under control - no soda, carbonated beverages, coffee or alcohol. No citrus fruit or juice. Limit or avoid fried foods and sugar loaded snacks like cake, cookies and pie.
