How long does Alcon Tobradex takes to clear up bloodshots with the eye?
Ok but how long does it take the alcon tobradex to clear up a bloodshot in the eye? I've been hit accidentally in the left eye on the 12th of June and been taking it since the 15th until the 22nd of June and it still haven't clear my bloodshot inflammation. It was prescribe by my doctor for me to use

You should call the provider that prescribed the tobradex. It is not advisable to use topical steroids in the eyes for much longer than a week because it can weaken the connective tissue in the eye (causing you lots more problems). I don't know exactly what the doctor was treating when he prescribed it--if he saw signs of an infection or if you had a corneal abrasion-or any number of other things. But if it has not cleared up and you have used the medicine like it was prescribed for a week and it has not improved they should look at it again.
