My son who is 23 years old?

had epilepsy which stopped 4 years ago.he was having them for about 4years. he only had them of a night,it was very frightening.but after a while he was on medication which helped. anyway he had another one last night.out of the blue.i was so worried.i cant understand after all this time it happened, my son i 23 and 6ft tall so its very hard trying to control him.he bit all hes tongue.but what really worries me if im not here,and he has one, will he be ok,has anyone got any advice.

At the present time epilepsy has no cure. The fact that your son went for some time without a seizure is not a guarantee that it would not happen again, as you have unfortunately recently noticed. It could be possible that he will have to take medication on a regular basis.
