Cancer/Chemo affecting metabolism?!

Question:

Cancer/Chemo affecting metabolism?

I'm 28, and just got over Lymphoma some time ago. I was given Rotuxun and Chemo to do so.

Ever since then, my appetite has been almost insatiable. I'm constantly hungry or wanting something to eat. At first I attributed it to my body trying to recover from the massive weight loss (I went from 270 to 198 in about 3 or 4 months), but I'm pretty sure I'm back to a healthy weight now.

Has anyone ever heard of Cancer or Chemotherapy affecting Metabolism after it's done?

Answers:

You should have been told about this at the start of your treatment. It happens ALL the time! and can last for months after your treatment concludes. They tell you that it can take 12 months or so for all of the medications to leave your system.
