Why is this lower back pain in the pelvic region extending to right knee and calf muscle?
Can this be due spine degeration disease or disc prolapse?
What is the remedy? How long will it take to get cured?
Answers:
Sciatica is pain along the sciatic nerve. It usually results from compression of nerve roots in the lower back. Common causes include disk disease, osteophytes, and narrowing of the spinal canal (spinal stenosis). Symptoms include pain radiating from the buttocks down the leg. Diagnosis is by MRI or CT.
