High heart rate, what is the cause?!

Question: High heart rate, what is the cause?
My heartrate runs high. It is almost always 100 or more, sometimes almost 200. I get weak and dizzy when it is high and my chest will hurt. I see a cardiologist and take medication to slow it down. My blood pressure is low, and I take medicine for that too. I went to the hospital because my heart rate had been higher than usual and they did blood work and found that my calcium is high and potassium is low. He said I needed to see an endocrinologist. Can that cause problems with my heart rate and blood pressure

Answers:

These are the list of temporary causes of high heart rate or medically known as tachycardia :
* Vitamin deficiency
* Anemia
* Certain medications
* Emotional stress, fear, anxiety, nervousness.
* Fever
* Heavy meal
* Intake of stimulating substances such as tea, coffee, tobacco etc.
* Physical exertion.

Before treating high heart rate, change in unhealthy lifestyle and unhealthy diet is expected. Excessive caffeine, alcohol, cholesterol, tobacco, drug abuse should be avoided. Stress management techniques should be learned. A high heart rate requires prompt treatment, as it puts a strain on the heart increasing the risk of a heart attack
