Asthma varies with each person, and should be treated closely with your doctor's supervision.
That being said, I was diagnossed with asthma when I was 2. I'm 31 now. And my daughter has asthma like symptoms, but has not been diagnossed officially yet.
She uses a steriod nebulizer treatment that really helps. I take Singulair that helps me quite a bit.
