What could sunken area on hip be?!


Question: What could sunken area on hip be?
I have an area of sunken skin on one hip but not the other.I just noticed it about 4 days ago.Theres no pain,discoloration,or a sore or anything.Its only about the size of a quarter and irregular shaped.There was some dry skin there but it cleared up within a couple days.I havent worked out in a few months so i have gained about 5 pounds could it have something to do with that.Have you ever had this before?
