Really scared i might have HIV?!


Question:

Really scared i might have HIV?

I got a tattoo. I know the guy used a brand new clean needle but im not sure that he sterilized the tube. he gave a tattoo to someone with aids a few days before me. Is it possible blood could've gotten inside the tube and somehow on to the needle and then infected me?

he used a clean needle, the only part i'm not postive on is the tube. do they have to clean the tube regardless? Someone said that if they don't clean it the gun will jam up

no, the aids virus does not live outside the body for more than a few seconds. I'd be much more concerned about possible Hepatitis if I were you.
