Is there something to buy over-the-counter to remove genital warts?

I do not have insurance and want to try something over-the-counter to get rid of genital warts. They are all external. Any advice?

I would HIGHLY suggest as a certified pharmacy technician, and a person who has had genital warts, that you DO NOT use anything over the counter for genital warts.

The medication that is available over the counter, like Compound W, is for common warts found on the hands, feet, elbows, etc. The genital area is a sensitive part of the body and that medication is not intended for a sensitive area like that.

Just because you don't have insurance, doesn't mean you can't see a doctor and get a prescription. You can always go to a STD clinic or a Planned Parenthood and have them write you are prescription for some cream. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it. Good luck!
