Ham in my nose?
sometimes when i eat some food sneaks into my nasal canal without me knowing it. then i feel it later and i think its a booger, then i blow my nose and it comes out. i've had a piece of lettuce and a piece of ham do this. how does this happen and is it normal?

yes, it's the same reason some people can suck milk through a straw up their nose. the same reason you can "taste" a nose spray (like allergy med spray) in your throat. they are connected. not sure why it happens for you with food tho. next time you are at the Dr. ask him.
