My toenails next to my big toes are thickened at the end. The nail looks alright otherwise... Is this a fungal infection or can it be normal?

Could be a fungal nail infection but the nail is usually discoloured as well.
Have you had athletes foot? The fungus that causes this can spread to the nail.
