Advice for a college student with stomach bug?!

Question: Advice for a college student with stomach bug?
It's midterm week. Yay! To make matters even better, I woke up this morning with a cattle prod stabbing my lower back from the inside out, then proceeded to vomit several times. I haven't been sick since before noon, but that's probably because I haven't eaten or drank anything. Right now I'm eating a granola bar and drinking some Gatorade.

Anyway, I had to postpone one of my exams for tomorrow. I don't have any classes tomorrow, but I do have a study session for my geology exam on Friday. I have another exam on Friday too. I'll be spending all day studying tomorrow, so rest is almost out of the equation. What can I do to make myself feel better, at least well enough to sit through my finals on Friday? Thanks and God bless...

Answers:

First I really wouldn't recommend drinking gatorade....you should be drinking water.

Hmm. It's possible you have a mild case of food poisoning or you just ate something that you didn't realize was bad. I'd try drinking herbal teas because these usually soothe your stomach, or at the very least will help you to relax in preparation for your exams

Try to eat a light meal, and if you vomit again you might have a type of stomach flu and the only way to treat that would be medication
