Question about Versed, the medicine they give you to calm your nerves before surgery?
I would like to know if this medicine is really effective, I am having anxiety about being put under general anesthesia, and I am curious if the versed will be effective against this.

Versed is EXCELLENT! It definately works wonders to help ease your fears about your surgery. Actually, it's my fave med when I'm about to undergo surgery (has had MANY surgeries LOL). It pretty much makes you so calm you really don't care what happens to you LOL Pretty much after they give you that, you get pretty relaxed quickly and will probably be just about out by the time you reach the OR.
