Bumps and itching above pubic hairline?!

Question:

Bumps and itching above pubic hairline?

A few months ago, I used the new laundry soap with softener in it. (Tide w/Downey) I found out I was allergic to it, got a rash above my pubic hairline. Went to doctor, he gave me this cream to use. It hasn't helped really.
Now, I still have the problem, where bumps appear and the itching is hard to ignore. Did the laundry soap get into the upper dermis? I need ideas to make rash, and the rash looking stuff to go away, not to pretty, has made me keep my pants on, because I am embarresed. What home remidy would work, or another idea, please?

Answers:

Try Benadryll cream extra strength from a drug store. I had an allergic reaction to laundry soap before and I rewashed all my clothes in a different detergent before putting anything else on. Be paitent, it doesn't go away overnight. If it's been a couple weeks go back to your doctor, it may not have been the soap. I know a guy who's allergic to the metal on his belt buckle and when it touches his skin he gets a bad rash. Think of anything that may have touched or still touches the skin that has the rash.
