Glandular fever help?!
Question: Glandular fever help?
It started with a really high fever and I woke up in a cold sweat, then my muscles started to ache and feel tender. Then my throat was really sore to the point where I found it hard to even swallow liquid. I've also had ear ache and a cold.
I thought it was flu, but I went out before wednesday and kissed 3 different people and worried I caught it through this.
I haven't been tested because I'm feeling slightly better today but worried if it IS glandular fever then it keeps coming back for up to a year, is this true?

I'm 16 and I have Glandular fever right now, had it since last Thursday,
All the same signs as you, my blood test confirmed I had it. The Doctor hasn't been very clear or straight with me, but I'm allowed to be off sick from work for 2 weeks.
I believe the tiredness/exhaustion elements can last for up to 1-2 years, but the other things such as the sore throat/ear ache will go within 1-3 weeks in some cases
Do you feel like your getting better slowly?
It shouldn't come back (as the body can produced anti-bodies to resist it) but as i said- the tiredness elements i've been told can last for a long time.
