My cat is vomiting a black liquid...anyone know what it could be?!

Question:

My cat is vomiting a black liquid...anyone know what it could be?

He had a micro-chip placed 4 days ago and also had a rabies shot seeing as I have to travel abroad with him next month. My vet says the rabies shot shouldn't make him sick...He won't eat or drink either?

He's already neutered

Answers:

I would absolutely make a trip to an emergency vet hospital. Vomiting black liquid can't be good. There's a chance it could be blood. It could also be something he's eaten that is poisonous to cats.

Whatever it is, get him to the vet quickly. I wish you and your wee one the best of luck.
